Treatment

Patients who undergo a Microneedling treatment may notice some results straight away but remodelling collagen within the skin takes time. I recommend a course of between 4 and 6 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Depending on the problem being treated I can advise how many treatments may be needed. Final results can be seen roughly 3-6 months after the final appointment.

The Microneedling system uses 9 micro-needles which perforate the skin stimulating blood flow, cell production and collagen renewal. The growth factors that are released during this process promote scar and hyperpigmentation repair and healing. It is important to know that scars are permanent and will never disappear.
